Antonella's mom

Condolences to longtime Queen's Park columnist Antonella Artuso following the death of her mother, Isabella, last week.

If you didn't read the Toronto Sun obit, you missed how more obits should be written, with personal stories about the deceased's life.

We always ask couples how they met because how they met speaks volumes about  beginnings. As noted in the obit, Antonella's father first saw his bride-to-be up a tree in Italy eating fruit. He refused to let her down without a promise to marry him.

They were married for 52 years.
