Pat Duncan, former publisher of both the Penticton Western News and the Summerland Review during the 1990s when owned by Bowes Publishers has died at his home in Penticton, B.C."He will be remembered as a caring guy who treated his staff like family and put others needs before his own," Don Sinclair, former executive VP and COO of Bowes tells TSF.
"Our deepest sympathy to Pat's family. May God bless you Pat, you were one of a kind and a dear friend to so many of us."
Sinclair says Pat, survived by his wife, Bonnie, three children and many friends from his days with Bowes, died following a 16-month battle with cancer.
Pat started his media career with the Western News Advertiser in 1974.
