    To think that after 60 years of CBC liberal bias the Conservatives might actually get a media outlet that doesn't actually work against them. All of a sudden for the Liberals, it's the end of the world. How laughable is that?

    Not as laughable as the suggestions that not being neither left or right implies being a big-L Liberal, or that the media should ever work for any political party.

    The job of the media is to expose stupidity across the political spectrum. Tame media outlets like the China People's Daily have no place in Canada.

    Actually, no! The job of the media is to entertain. The job of the news media is to inform. Unfortunately, both the media and the news media would much rather make an easy buck, so we are neither entertained nor informed. It's sad really.
