200,000 hits

Who would have thought a blog designed to raise the spirits of Toronto Sun Family members would draw an average of 100,000 hits a year when launched in December of 2006?

We didn't.

But visitor 200,000 dropped in over the weekend and if this were Honest Ed's, we're sure he or she would have won something, say the Best of Mantovani on 8-track.

Sitemeter milestones come and go here, so all we can offer is thanks to another visitor.

Now, many of the 200,000 visitors from around the world probably arrived at TSF in error, but there is a solid core of media-related visits daily and that keeps us motivated.

  1. No Mike Filey in this Sunday's newspaper.! No general interest or news quizzes either!
Thinnest Sunday Toronto Sun that I have seen ever.

  2. Thin it is, but Mike Filey's column was on Page 33 in Life. Calvin Reynolds, aka Professor Calvin, was laid off recently.

  3. 100,000 hits a year or 100,000 unique visitors a year?

    There's a significant difference.

    Continued best wishes either way!

  4. Must have missed it? Wasn't in the usual spot, I guess.

  5. I like the site (and contribute some content), but the biggest thing you guys do is depress any newspaper guy who reads this site.
    That said, I'll keep reading.
