Dave Lucas, a high profile Toronto Sun photographer, called it quits yesterday.
The Loyalist College photojournalism graduate resigned to take a newsroom desk job at the Globe and Mail.
Dave's photo assignments at the Sun ranged from Toronto Argonauts games to Indonesia for coverage of the tsunami aftermath. Dave's photo here was snapped in a jet for a CNE air show story.
His photos have been used by multiple news agencies, including Canadian Press, the Ottawa Sun, Getty and Reuters.
His credentials say here is a photographer you want on your team.
"A great young photographer hangs up his cameras for a desk job . . . I wonder why?," says a Toronto Sun Family reader. "Is it called 'a future?'"
TSF's Daily Count for the Toronto Sun goes back to zero.
