Ted Rogers, who died early today at 75, briefly entered the Toronto Sun Family fold in 1994 when he bought Maclean Hunter Ltd. for $3 billion.
Two years later, Rogers sold his 62.5% share in Sun Publishing, ending his brief ties to the tabloid before Sun employees warmed up to him as an owner.
